تستخدم العوازل الزجاجية هيكل تلبيد الزجاج مع أداء الختم الجيد. يمكن استخدامها مع موصلات الموجات المليمترية مثل SMA و2.92، ويمكن أيضًا استخدامها مباشرة بين لوحات PCB والقوالب والقوالب والمكونات. إنه يستخدم الزجاج (ثابت العزل الكهربائي حوالي 4.0) كمادة عازلة متوسطة، والموصلات الداخلية والخارجية مصنوعة من مادة سبائك Kovar. بعد التلبيد بدرجة حرارة عالية، يتم طلاء السطح بالنيكل مع الذهب. تتميز العوازل الزجاجية بمزايا الحجم الصغير والوزن الخفيف وضيق الهواء والموثوقية العالية. يتم استخدامها في الغالب في المناسبات التي تتطلب متطلبات الختم، أو متطلبات حجم المنتج ووزنه. إنها مناسبة للتركيب المكثف. يمكن توصيل الموصل الداخلي بعدة طرق، مثل التوصيل والتركيب على السطح واللحام وربط الأسلاك الذهبية.
